A New Take on Drugstore Makeup

I was recently on the look out for a new foundation that I could try out and I came across Boots No 7 No7 Stay Perfect Liquid Foundation SPF15 at http://www.target.com/p/Boots-No7-Stay-Perfect-Foundation-Cream/-/A-10815243 and I freaked out!  When I was over in England I went to the Drugstore called "Boots"( I loved that drugstore, their products are made very well)   I was thrilled to find out that the UK brand has launched their makeup to the US.  This makeup product was only $12.99 at my target, I thought it would be nice to give it a try. I of course purchased the lightest color they have, which is "cream".  I have been using this product for about two weeks now, I am absolutely in love. I swear I never feel like I am wearing anything. My face always feels so smooth and looks like I wasn't wearing any foundation at all.  The Bottle does say to shake it before use, so I make sure I shake that bottle very well.  I have found by doing that I get the best out of my product, the color payoff is outstanding.  I would say this is light-medium coverage, but you can always re-apply to get your desired coverage.  If you get a chance please stop by your Target and check it out!

Deluxe Dipped Apple Recipe

I found this recipe on https://recipe.bettycrocker.com and it reminded me of the candy apples I made once when I was younger.  I am a huge fan of candy apples when I go to Fall Festivals, or to farmers markets during this time of year.  Candy apples are just so delightful.  These specific ones were just to-die-for.  It would be such a fun idea if you are trying to get the family in the kitchen.  For myself, it would be a great idea to get my College friends together to bake and watch movies on a cool fall day.  You can put any sort of toppings on there I assume.  I think my ideal toppings would be the mini marshmallows and the mini chocolate chips, I love the taste of sweet and salty foods.

Scarves and all their glory

As we all know fall can be very chilly, and sometimes very warm. Each day varies.Adding a few scarves can totally transform your wardrobe.  There are so many places to buy inexpensive scarves, such as : www.forever21.com ,www.target.com , http://www.boscovs.com. Scarves can put the finishing touch on an outfit.  Just through a scarf around your neck and you are out the door.

This scarf is quite cute as well. Plaid is very in this season and it always gives your outfit a nice finishing touch.

What do you think about this trend that Leighton Meester is pulling off effortlessly?   I think it is so feminine and fun.  You can try different patterns,textures and colors.  I love this look, and I know I will be rocking it.  DO NOT BE AFRAID TO BE BOLD. xoxo

A pop of color

I know a red lip can be very imitating, but with the right color any outfit will be put together just perfectly.Let me ask you something,would you rock this look?  I know I will be.  This look is very in for the fall-winter season.  With the right red lipstick it can even make your teeth appear whiter! Do not be afraid to try this look.  You will be surprised how confident you feel when wearing it. I know I do. xox
